‘SACHI’S’ is an authentic Indian Restaurant in the heart of Ilkley is situated at Moors Shopping Centre, Ilkley, near Car park.
The restaurant is the dream project of Chef Sachi who has worked tirelessly to develop a Menu that spans from the traditional to more adventurous greatly influenced by culture and skills learned through years of working with Indian and French cooking techniques.

Born in India, Sachi has a distinguished career as a Chef and has a passion for sourcing and incorporating the best quality local produce into his menus. A desire to expand his knowledge and experience further brought him to the UK from India in 2008 to join celebrity Chef Raymond Blanc’s restaurant ‘Brasserie Blanc’ in Leeds where he, later on, became the Head Chef. He also worked as a Head Chef in the restaurants like ‘Bistrot Pierre’, Ilkley, ‘Fleece’ in Addingham. Before that Sachi worked in some of the finest hotel restaurants in India including ‘Olive Beach’ in Bangalore, 'Mirch Masala' in Mumbai, ‘Leela Palace’ and 'Club Mahindra' in Goa, ‘Trident Hilton’ in Delhi and Kochi.

 

Sachi’s love for cooking developed throughout his childhood, he credits his family and upging with setting him on the path to a successful culinary career. One of his earliest influences was learning recipes from his mother and aunties. He went to one of India’s best hotel schools and was taught to cook cuisine from all over the world such as French, Italian, Thai and Indian. Learning rapidly, he gained inspiration from Asian culinary traditions to compliment his Indian background and training.
SACHI’s promises to serve traditional Indian Cuisine featuring Delhi butter chicken, Chicken Chettinad, Lamb Rogan Josh, Saag Paneer, Goan Prawn Curry, Pork Vindaloo, Vindi do Pyaza towards a fine dining Indian experience where he uses his French cooking technique with a classic Indian recipe and creats wizzard like Monktail with malabari sauce, Soft shell crab with Xacutti sauce, an authentic Bengali fish curry with Seabass Filet or a dessert like Elaichi Chai Brulee. 

It promises a luxurious culinary experience designed to captivate and deeply satisfy all senses. Sachi prides himself on knowing his guests and exceeding their expectations. His greatest joy is witnessing a beautifully plated dish leave his kitchen and return empty - with everything is eaten and the plate completely clean.
